Treatment of PILES and ANAL IRRITATION

Piles (haemorrhoids) are venous swelling of the tissues around the anus. They may be located internally or externally.

The main causes are:

• Constipation
• Pregnancy
• Diet - lack of fibre
• Prolonged and incorrect sitting position
• Confinement to bed

Rowatanal Cream, for the treatment of piles, has analgesic, astringent and emollient properties. After application it relieves the intense itching and burning sensation associated with piles.

You should avoid trauma when cleansing the anal area after bowel movements by patting rather than rubbing the area with soft slightly dampened toilet tissue.
